Low pay Have to find someone to cover your shift before getting time off

Bella Vista location is amazing, coworkers and bella vista residents.

Poor benefits which is ridiculous when there’s so much money coming in from all of their rich customers. There’s cruddy medical insurance, don’t even think about adding on your kids or you’ll lose $300 - $600 a month! Only 4 paid holidays, and I think that’s it when it comes to benefits. Compare that to other companies and it’s a joke. If you work at the Bella Vista location you don’t have to pay for your meals, but you do if you work at the original or new location. PTO acquires so slowly I think 2 hrs every pay check and you don’t start off with anything at the beginning of the year. It just is what it is. The new thing with our insurance is they make us pick one from two pharmacy options and that’s it. For example, I’m only allowed to go to CVS. Idk what I would do in an emergency. I guess I’m not allowed to use the hospital pharmacy. And the lady taking over for the CEO thinks rules and regulations (from State) are just guidelines and not absolute. It can feel at times like our location is neglected and/or taken advantage of because our residents have memory issues. So they never have anything to complain about because they forget. We’re their advocates and we come off as picky because we are always asking for the best for them.
