4yOur bonus fund was designed as an incentive for employees to do the right thing and take care of our customers. Millions of dollars are paid out every year in bonuses and our employees are happy earning the extra income. Our owners and management team are available every day and often ask for employees' opinions on decisions made around the store. The HR policies are standard policies that you would see at any place of employment. The majority of our staff is paid hourly, which again employees are happy about because they get paid overtime for any hours worked above 40. In addition, starting pay for most departments is above industry standard. We have never heard of a company that pays their staff to go to the doctor but we definitely allow our employees the flexibility for appointments, etc. All employees earn Sick Pay and are able to submit these for hours missed due to missed time. We have to be doing something right over here at Abt to be in business for over 86 years and employing over 1,600 people.
