Pros

None. Nothing was good there.

Pros

-Management invested a substantial amount of time and effort to improve the technology and process during my experience. Although my contributions were minimal on the IT part, it was great to participate in the development of their new software platform. -Very flexible and understanding of employees needs, specially when dealing with family or personal emergencies. Management was always ready to listen and help when I needed tome off. -Open door policy. The CEO Andreas, his wife Karla, the pharmacist in charge David and all the staff, were readily available to share concerns and opinions. Sometimes, business needs limited the interactions, but there was always an effort made to answer critical business concerns. -Weekends. With some limited exceptions most of the work was done during the week. -Relatively simple and streamlined job

Cons

- As in many family owned businesses, some people tend to misunderstand or be misunderstood during stressful moments. -There are days where work can be hectic, followed by slow days. You have to learn to navigate the waves. -The business of polypeptide compounding is somewhat complex. You must take a proactive effort to learn and understand the products provided. Due to the nature of the business, don’t expect to be given everything on day one. Learning the business can be gradual, but be ready to ask a lot of questions.
