6yAs I constantly tell Penguins, the feedback office is always open. And unlike the reviewer, I am not anonymous and am always here to address feedback.
What I do find interesting about the feedback in this review is that the Pros comments acknowledge significant positives about working at Abrigo but, other than mentioning amazing team members, everything is about entitlement and what this reviewer "gets" for working at Abrigo. Nothing about serving customers, our mission, why we exist, or accomplishing anything. This entitlement is something we are trying to root out and deal with and I suspect the reviewer has received performance management feedback along those lines.
We are growing and changing. We don't always get it right. I've made mistakes in hiring, some high profile. I've dealt with them and exited poor performers. I make no apology for constantly pushing to get better and never settling for mediocrity or entitled behavior.
The reviewer disparages a couple of specific Penguins in this review in a way that makes their identify clear to those of us within the company. Let me be very clear here - I stand behind these Penguins and support them. For those reading this review, I'll trust your intelligence to figure out what is happening here.
I wish this reviewer had spoken to me or anyone else about their concerns and dealt with them constructively. The opportunity to do so still exists and I am available anytime.
The feedback office is always open. I mean it and live it. Countless Penguins have taken me up on that and we are better for it. In the meantime, I will continue to put our Penguins first and focus on getting results through them, not in spite of them.
