      Pros

      Most of the staff members are amazing people who are passionate about the agency's mission.

      Cons

      Financial future is uncertain. Leader has done some good things for the community, but lacks a clear vision. Also has a habit of making decisions without asking staff for any input whatsoever. If the agency survives, it will be in spite of, not because of him.

      Pros

      You get to work with a team of individuals who are passionate about the community and serving the poor. The CEO is a great visionary and activist. The people you work with care for each other and care deeply about the mission.

      Cons

      As with most nonprofits, the compensation and benefits aren't that great. But they make up for it in professional development and work-life balance.
