Pros

Good average pay rate Good management of replacing cancelled shifts for support workers Good standard of support workers Good company for clients who are looking to maintain a status quo with their care. Manages Tac and ndis clients

Cons

Good workers only stick around for short periods until management either miscalculates pay, doesn't give them shifts even when they constantly ask for shifts and are available for the shifts. Bad management of support workers with complex needs. Things need to get really bad for any action to be taken by management. Since the transfer to digital progress notes, all workers and clients have become names, numbers and shift times to management with no proper follow up on the progress of clients. Not the company for those looking to progress or rehabilitate in their support plan.

Pros

Most of the team are lovely.

Cons

Management is a cesspool of bullying and enabling toxic behaviours. They straight up ignore any concerns raised and will find a way to shift accountability for their actions so they’re never at fault, even when they don’t give their workers the agency to make decisions without them. They hold you accountable for working the way previous management told you to work if it’s no longer correct but won’t tell you that the process has changed. The participants and the support workers all suffer for this. Some staff will also be given internal promotions, so they can become the scapegoat for the previous persons mistakes. Yes, that’s right. Once one senior person makes too many mistakes, a new person will be brought in to take accountability for all of them, and will subsequently be fired.

Pros

Can say no to shifts that don’t align with your schedule

Cons

They never stop calling and texting to ask you to do shifts that you’ve said you are not available for many times. All hours of the day, it is constant, they do not respect or listen to what you are saying. They send people who do not care to clients that just want to sit on their phone and not actually help the people whose house they are in. They hire basically anyone and the quality of staff is extremely low, they don’t do nearly enough vetting of staff being on boarded to ensure a high level of care will be given. Clients constantly upset with people coming into their home and not being respectful
