Pros

Great sales training...solid sales methodology...decent products,...few that are best in class. Reps that learn their sales process will be able to succeed in any sales environment. Work hard and you will be treated well. Long term career possible. They employ sales professionals of all ages and treat everyone fairly..,don’t see evidence of age discrimination

Cons

Poor customer support that can often cause sales cancellations that create clawbacks in sales commissions. Pricing for newer services not competitive,..,marketing needs better understanding of the clients we serve ... sales territories often not well thought out causing many to have no possibility of making decent commissions or even coming close to quota

Pros

Beautiful environment to work in. Great downtown location on the bus lines. Free soda, coffee, and fruit. Casual dress. All of the people in the company are awesome - smart but very friendly and helpful. I worked for ABILITY for 3.5 years, specifically in the Marketing Department. The employees in the Marketing department are amazing - incredibly smart, forward thinking, helpful and fun. I felt that we all cared about each other and had each other's backs. The VP of Marketing, John Porricolo (who I reported to the majority of my career there) was honestly the best boss I ever had. He encouraged me to grow as an employee and as an individual, and he believed in my talents and abilities. When I doubted myself he would encourage me - this allowed me to learn many new things and see what I was capable of. I learned SO much in my time at ABILITY - skills and knowledge that I am now applying at my new job.

Cons

ABILITY is a company going through a huge growth phase. They are in that "awkward" stage of going from a small company to a large one, so they are in the process of putting procedures and workflows solidly into place. Things move quickly, and can sometimes feel hectic, chaotic, or disorganized, but it's also really exhilarating and fun. You are never bored and there is rarely a dull moment! I believe the growth will also allow for opportunities to grow/move up in the company in the future.
