Company with very poor ethics - DO NOT WORK HERE - E-Marketing Manager Ability Beyond Employee Review

Pros

Really nothing. I hate to say it. When I started, I felt good about what I was doing, because I felt I was helping others. This illusion faded quickly. I was poorly treated as an employee and shown great disrespect. Worse still, I realized the company does not help people. It exploits the disabled.

Cons

Pays employees poorly. Benefits are even worst. Extremely disrespectful environment to work in. Very belittling. Employees work in a hostile and belittling environment. Work load is high, but the pay is laughable. Business practices are highly unethical and possibly illegal and abusive. Work is under great pressure. Above all else, it is an insulting and belittling place to work. Disabled clients receive exceptionally poor services. For example, they are in some vocational programs that are supposed to teach them skills and place them in good jobs, but this never happens. They stay in limbo and never get the services that the company says they will. Benefits are nil. Nothing. No paid vacation. No sick days. No personal days. No health insurance. No retirement assistance. I've never worked at such a cheap place that cared so little about employees. The only ones who seem to do well are the CEO (Tom Fanning) and some other high ranking officers. They are paid very very generously.
