Cons
No advancement if you don't speak Spanish. Spanish management doesn't understand doing business in US. Top level management in projects are typically incompetent personnel from Spain. They are very proud of their titles, most have no idea how to manage, so they bully, or worse, just ignore issues completely. Even their own internal requirements are routinely ignored if it means they have to do a little work. They will report what they think management wants to hear, it doesn't have to be accurate. I swear it is impossible for a Spanard in Abengoa to tell a senior level manager that something is not the way it should be, even when it is blatantly wrong. Vendors are bullied, beaten down, and payment is withheld too often for petty reasons, if there is one.
