Pros

Location is very convenient whereby located in Damansara Uptown beside Starling Mall and many eateries (Halal and Non Halal food). Can run to different bank to do banking matters. Salary wise is matched back to market rate. Benefits cover outpatient not more than RM 7k in total include dependent and inpatient is RM 15k per person. Outpatient and inpatient coverage only for own child and spouse who isn't working. Company give scholarships for working parents kids who are pursuing higher education ie degree upon successful application and with good results. If staff house destroyed due to natural calamity, company will help abit in financially . Company give 13th month salary in December & performance bonus around Q1 of the calendar year. Company celebrate all 3 festive season with delicious meal from simple open house - breakfast only. Breakfast is average. Every Friday they will give staff sliced fruits or juices. Pantry is always stocked with biscuits and snacks and Abbott milk products. Fridge is stocked with healthy canned or packed drinks. Each level has at least 2 coffee machines. Abbott occupies the highest 3 levels so please bear with the lift and fire drill as company located at highest level. Colleagues are well diversified with old and young, and many races. Staff get 1/2 day festive off if the celebration falls on the next working day. Company cover RM 250 for parking claim. Parking can be found in imazium (reserved and floating) or Uptown 7. Got free shuttle van by starling mall for those who take public transport. Company allow work from home once a week. Alot of health talks but strangely they serve unhealthy food. Annual dinner prizes are so so average despite a fortune 500 company. Got provide mental health support free for employees and dependent.

Cons

Constant restructuring for underperforming team. For finance, nature support overseas entity thus expect you could work everyday exclude public holiday. If closing fall on public holiday include festive holiday, you need to come to work in office or at home and work as usual. Finance need to close by third working day (US working day) which is stressing. Staff usually staff until 9pm on closing on normal months , quarter and year end is even later. Replacement leave are given but need to use within a month (30 days). Can't afford to fall sick or plan for nice travel with friends or loved ones as everyday got ad hoc task from internal management report request, audit or etc. Not really suitable for working parents who doesn't have support to take care of their kids. Even during closing, parents still need to work in office. Regardless daycare close or child admit to hospital or child finish school. Not really flexible for working parents or those who want work life balance. If travel, best to bring laptop around to answer emails from division otherwise when return, alot of email. Too much of policies to follow and a simple request will be routed many levels. Different department got different politics, so pick your right team to side with. Side the wrong team, you won't last long there.
