Pros

Decent starting salary. Some good people. They also had new updated equipment for the office.

Cons

UN-ethical. I was told to lie to the customers, and tell them we had stock when we did not stock parts. They are strictly a broker. There was also a ton of talking behind peoples back going on by the manager and others. The list of contacts they give you to cold call is large, but 98% of them have nothing to do with or use any electronic components.

We have a 90% retention rate after 6 months, strong benefits, and a franchised training program. Our employees are incentivized with high salaries and are not expected to ship for 90 days. Yes, our salaries will fluctuate based on performance AFTER 90 days; as your salary goes down, so does your quota and as it goes back up, your quota goes up as well. Not a new concept, it’s sales! Our job isn’t to motivate you, we are not your life coach! We are looking for hard working, hungry, passionate, honest, driven employees. If you are willing to put in the work, we will all pitch in and help you! Put your customers first, be transparent and they will be lifelong customers. Abacus is a fantastic place to work! All the best, not sure sales is your calling. Regards, Patrick Kunzi HR Director Abacus

Pros

Can make a lot of money if you are good at sales

Cons

By my 3rd year I was making over 300k a year. The more I made the more they shorted my pay. By the end they owed me around 50K for money they shorted me between 2021 and 2023. I left because they refuse to even talk to me about the money I had earned, that they owed, and never paid me. I am a widowed father of two your girls (5 & 6 y/o) and had to quit then file a complaint with the labor board to get money I was owed.
