Pros

-- AWeber is a place that values achievement and entrepreneurial spirit. Good place for ambitious high achievers. You can do important work and grow your career here, and you will be aggressively challenged. -- Smart and friendly coworkers. -- Excellent benefits: 100% PPO healthcare (no payroll deduction); onsite free gourmet lunches; 401(k) with company match and profit sharing; tuition reimbursement; consistently paid annual performance bonuses; competitive paid time off (grows with tenure); gym membership reimbursement; free coffee/soda/juice. -- Strong focus on collaboration and teamwork. You'll readily find people in various teams eager to support your projects. -- Fun and modern work environment: game area with pool table, ping pong table, foosball, arcade games, XBox/Wii, movie theaters; convertible sitting/standing desks with Aeron chairs; HDTVs and Apple TVs in meeting rooms; slides from 2nd to 1st floor; outdoor patio with picnic tables; Wi-Fi throughout indoor and outdoor spaces; many walls painted with whiteboard paint; dedicated yoga/fitness room; onsite showers; new Macbooks/iMacs.

Cons

-- Some may not care for the open work environment at AWeber. The only offices are for HR and recruiting. Everyone else, including the CEO and COO, work at "pods" in an open floor plan. -- Related to the first Pro above... if you're not looking for people to really push you, if you want a job that lets you be and just do what's in a typical responsibilities list for your role, AWeber may not be the place for you. This is true even for the most junior customer service team member. -- There's a lot to learn in order to become productive. Lots of tools, technologies, and processes. It's not impossible, of course, but it can be intimidating. -- As noted, there is a large focus on teamwork and collaboration, which is good. However, the flipside of this is that working remotely is strongly discouraged. All team members come to the office by default, with work-from-home days rarely permitted. Job candidates who want to work remotely more than a couple days per quarter will probably not find AWeber a good fit.

Pros

AWeber is a great company to work for, and consistently has been for many years. While being at AWeber, you get to work with awesome technologies and serve really cool customers. The team dynamic at AWeber is top tier, and communication between team members is ever present. There is always information sharing, internal documentation to reference, and avenues to learn/stay in the know. This commitment to public facing communication allows team members to know what's upcoming, know what's expected of them, ask questions, posit suggestions/ideas, and appropriately prepare and plan. At AWeber, everyone has a voice, and their voice matters. Being at the company each day feels less like a job and more of an opportunity to accomplish something great.

Cons

At the company, we all actively work to make AWeber better for today, tomorrow, and the future. If you are someone who prefers to silo information and hide from your team, working at AWeber would likely not be a good fit for you.
