AVL UK is a good company to work for in general, the pay is good for the type of work expected and the location of the contract. However this can all be different depending on your particular work circumstances as is the nature of the job. Pros are pay, benefits and perks!
Cons
Little to no opportunity for advancement as well as a lack of training and growth opportunities.. No actual training center or technical facilities for engineering work on campus.. If you can do the job, you will be sent out to make money indefinitely as long as there is no negative feedback from customers and your performance is acceptable. As with many companies in the UK, don't expect your work to be transformative or innovative as it is a "services" first shop front for AVL Graz.. Your best case scenario is that you remain a billable money making "resource" for the company..
