Pros

I've been in this company before the launch and it's been a huge pleasure working there. I've met fantastic people from all departments, got to really know them and as a result, I had a fantastic experience and opportunities! I had the best team in my department and the people I worked with are genuine and professional. I couldn't ask for better.

Cons

There has been a couple of hiccups for sure in this company: 1. Growing Pains: They are currently still at seed stage so no doubt, that means a lot of work needs to be done. Things get loco and crazy, but that's the fun part of being in a start up. 2. Lack of clear directions and goals: There needs to be strategy involved in this. Listen to the Product Owners and Managers of each department. Their plans and arguments are reasonable, financially and performance-wise. They truly care about delivering great products and services. 3. Clearly there was something going on: Things sometimes do get personal from what I've observed. And from what I see, it greatly affects those who are also aren't directly responsible for these matters. This needs to be well contained.

Pros

The company had a pretty great engineering culture until recently that the now former CTO had fostered. Lots of smart engineers that were great to work with. Great work/life balance.

Cons

The other C-Suite people and company management aside from the former CTO are a complete mess. An incredible amount of incompetence with how to run a successful business that ultimately drove this company into the ground. There was a project plan in the works that had a lot of potential to give purpose to the company, and put us on a clear path of profitability. Instead most of the C-Suite team and main investor decided to layoff half the company and focus on what's not working instead. Somehow they're still asking for users' money on Start Engine, which just feels scammy at this point. The company is very much dying, and they just want to scavenge every last penny they can before the ship finally sinks.
