Pros

The company/industry is growing, competitive wages, great 401K match and benefits, clean, safe environment. Medical saving account that rolls over each year and a tobacco free discount for non users. I am a user and this as given me the incentive to quit. Everyone I have had the chance to work with has been friendly and helpful. ATI takes safety serious and has never asked me to do anything unsafe. I grateful and thankful for the opportunity to work here. As ATI is expanding, there are many career opportunities. I started in out Albany, OR plant and have since moved on to our Salem, OR operations. Management will move people around, there is many opportunities to grow with this company.

Cons

I have been with ATI for 9 months and honestly enjoy it here. I haven't found anything disappointing or negative. Surrounded by great people and team leaders, no complaints from me.

Pros

Interesting work with (some) hard workers. Serious place to get real experience. Salaried employees receive a large 401k match.

Cons

Place is held together by critical staff working much harder than others, but don't expect many raises. Annual adjustments do not match inflation. Managers do not understand technical skills that set their staff apart and struggle to argue for raises when asked, losing this talent within a few years. Experience always outranks expertise (helps to be old). HR/Operations collaborate to underpay their hourly staff, keeping process changes that affect incentive pay out of union negotiations for as long as possible. HR can barely run Salaried payroll and will threaten you if you question their math (even when they owe you money). HR refuses to address racism/white supremacy within their hourly workforce.
