Pros

I have had the opportunity to belong to great organizations in both the private and public sectors. AT-RISK International's goal is to change the lives of our clients. I have been provided with so many opportunities to grow professionally and personally. It is hard to find an organization with as much impact as AT-RISK has and provides in the industry and still feel individually responsible for the overall success of your team and company as a whole. There is something to be said about a company that recognizes you individually and your abilities, experience, and education. In so many of the organizations I have belonged to, the individual gets lost in the grind of the company. I enjoy belonging to an organization where I get challenged to grow, rewarded with new opportunities professionally, and recognized for my contributions. Senior leadership understands the demands of the job and is quick to support you in personal wellness, but above all, I'm involved in changing people's lives.

Cons

That being said, if you're looking for a company to hide in and be lost, not contribute, and have others do your work for you....AT-RISK is definitely not the place for you. The operational tempo can be fast and demanding, and that doesn't always fit well with some. However, leadership is quick to support the needs of employees, with generous wellness benefits and time-off as needed. "Work hard, play hard."

The internal Operations team is incredible - always willing to lend a hand. Lots of opportunities to support special projects and clients, growth and potential.

More time for professional development would be great.

Pros

Business development and team environment

Cons

Poor and short-sighted strategic planning, retention plans, career pathway incentives, leadership and communication. Superficial professionalism; "expertise" hides behind smoke and mirrors concierge-type services; company cares only about selling as many services as possible, business and the bottom line, with no care to employees.
