Pros

Good colleagues to work with

Cons

Auditors still stuck in the 1990s - everything done using hardcopy. Partners are unwilling to invest in audit software. If you are coming from a firm that has even a basic audit software system, DO NOT JOIN. You will be unable to adapt as it is too manual. Only the typists get to live in the year 2024 and are allowed to use Microsoft word Partners love to micromanage you - keep asking for status updates even though they are aware that you have a high workload and many jobs on hand. Management not responsive to feedback. Gave feedback on work processes above to management but still no changes. You will be questioned if you are repeatedly late even if only by a few minutes. Most of the clients are in house jobs so you will be reporting to office almost everyday. Environment not conducive to working in a team. There is a culture of being quiet in the office unless you are discussing work with your colleagues and even so, you will have to do so in whispers and quickly.
