Pros

Where to start really. Recruitment agencies in the main have a reputation for being quite cut throat the (smaller more niche ones especially), this is absolutely not the case with ASG. The management and directors think of the long game and really invest time and effort into making you successful, you are literally given all the tools and given time to find your own style. There is a samba goal in the office as well as table football. Fresh fruit in the office is brought in and there are weekly incentives. Every month if target is hit by the team then everyone goes on team building days, if individually you hit target you go on the directors lunch where food and drink are all paid for, for you. The floor is open plan with the directors all sat at the end of each pod, they are extremely approachable and will share their expertise with you for the asking. The atmosphere in the office is second to none, people break out in song randomly and everyone supports eachother. This can be rare in recruitment as a lot of people are in it for themselves.

Cons

In all honestly I can't really think of any cons! It takes a very unique type of personality to fit in with the office as the 'banter' can fly at times! So if people are easily offended then it could be an issue!!

Pros

Office culture is great; when I started, everyone was really welcoming and now I have been here over a year I can see why others have stayed so long. Atmosphere is ace, great banter and the management have balanced work/fun really well. Benefits are awesome - the standard stuff but also birthdays off, lots of holiday days, staff days and nights out, incentives, prizes, bonuses for sales and non sales staff, consultant of the month prize, achievers lunches discounts at loads of places around the city, we have a GOAL in the office and a beer fridge and table football! We get quarterly reviews which are really helpful and the training is the best I have ever seen. Approachable management is a big part of the good atmosphere I think, they sit out with us not in some office somewhere so there is no fear when you need to talk to them about something. They made a point of explaining the companies values and mission statement and the fact that they don't believe in bad tactics that give recruiters bad names. I've heard this stuff a million times before but never worked somewhere before where they actually meant it! Career progression opportunities go right up to corporate/director level so there is a real feel that you can develop a career here. (I'm certainly going to try!)

Cons

We haven't got basketball nets... yet!

Pros

Excellent benefits, good salary, progression opportunities, training is great, there is an open plan layout with no separation from bosses, everyone is really friendly and random bursts of all-office songs are standard - this may be a con if you don't enjoy the odd minute of singing :P

Cons

Can't really think of any. We have some people who are always too hot and others (including me) who are always cold so just like every office I have ever set foot in, the air con temperature is constantly up for debate. They keep it to a mid-point so it's the best it can be for the majority... but a large wood burning stove by my desk wouldn't go amiss!
