      I can't think of any.

      There seems to be a misconception among management that this is such a valuable job that you will gladly bend over backwards for so little reward. What they wanted me to do takes more than an hour and I was not paid mileage or drivetime. I quit after a particularly ambiguous assignment. There was no way the dept store was going to cooperate. A few days later the manager had the gall to call me to tell me to go back the 20 miles to the store and re-do. For $6. I didn't. I am a professional merchandiser for more than one company and my work ethic and results are highly regarded. But this was her excuse to not pay me.

      The job ad I replied to was very straightforward about what to expect. I was only being assigned to one store and would only visit that store once a month or so, so I knew not to plan on using this as a significant source of income, just an extra deposit into my savings whenever work arises. The district manager was quick to get in touch and easy to reach. The job itself is pretty easy, though I didn't understand the planogram right away because it was my first time ever merchandising clothing. I tried to exercise my better judgment and made the clothing look as best as I could within the time I was allotted. The pay I receive is $12.50/hr, which I feel is pretty fair. I received my first check direct deposited on the date that I was expecting, which was great.

      Cons

      I have no idea when my next store visit will be and I'm not sure how I will be notified of it aside from checking the website daily to see if anything changes. I've been assigned three stores so far, but have only made one visit.
