In the US Army, there is a leadership style called Mission Command. The concept of Mission Command is where a leader issues a task to a subordinate by issuing an end state, left/right parameters, and trusting the subordinate to take meet this end state in whatever way that subordinate seems fit. This is a leadership style where the leader has trust in the subordinate, and a results only work environment is created.
