Pros

Over the past review period, I focused on delivering high‑quality work, improving operational reliability, and contributing to a stronger engineering culture. I consistently aimed to align my efforts with business priorities while proactively identifying ways to optimize workflows, enhance automation, and support my team.

Cons

Further optimize documentation to make workflows more transparent for the team. Delegate more effectively where appropriate to increase team involvement. Continue developing deeper expertise in areas such as advanced automation or cloud architecture.

Pros

Work life balance. Work from home twice a week

Cons

This workplace has a very clique-driven culture, with a significant amount of gossip and exclusion. Management tends to show favoritism, often forming inappropriate relationships with those they favor, which creates a toxic dynamic. While they promote work-life balance, which is one of the few positives, the team-building activities are overwhelming. Employees are frequently expected to attend happy hours, lunches, after-work events, and celebrations. For those who aren't particularly outgoing, this can feel demoralizing, especially if you'd rather focus on your work. Many team members have been with the company for decades, making it difficult for newcomers to integrate or find their place. Management is unresponsive to concerns, leaving employees to navigate challenges on their own. Additionally, the lack of diversity is evident, so if an inclusive culture is important to you, this is not the right environment. The most frustrating aspect of this workplace is the constant gossip, which undermines a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Lastly, the person that I supported never made me feel valued or recognized. Outside of our scheduled meetings, which were frequently canceled, rescheduled, or cut short, they barely communicated with me. In public settings, they often failed to acknowledge my presence, and over time, I noticed this pattern. It led to me feeling discouraged and ultimately caused me to withdraw. The lack of recognition and inconsistent communication made it difficult to feel motivated or engaged in my role.
