Pros
The founder is of a vision of distribhting the profits to all employees. The only pro in the company. The only company where even the last mile employee stands a chance to win ESOP. But if invested it is a lock.
Cons
The company presents a very different picture during the hiring process than what many employees eventually experience. What appears promising at the outset can gradually reveal itself to be an organization where internal lobbying and favoritism seem to matter more than merit, performance, or capability. One of the most concerning aspects is the perception that accountability is unevenly distributed. High performers often feel overlooked, while certain individuals continue to enjoy protection, recognition, and rewards despite consistently poor outcomes. The compensation and appraisal process appears equally disconnected from performance. Employees who deliver strong results may receive average increments, while a select few continue to benefit disproportionately. This creates a sense of frustration and erodes trust in the system. The organization could serve as a case study on how favoritism impacts employee morale, engagement, and retention. Unfortunately, talent, hard work, and integrity do not always seem to be the primary factors driving growth and recognition. The HR function, which should ideally act as a bridge between employees and management, often appears ineffective in addressing these concerns, leaving many employees feeling unheard and unsupported. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion. Prospective employees should conduct thorough due diligence and speak to current and former employees before making a decision.
