      Great people, flying, and excellent benefits.

      Cons

      Entry level positions are not highly paid and promotions will happen but your pay is pinned on your start date. It’s possible to have a long career at AOPA but not probable for lower-level staff looking for advancement and higher pay.

      Pros

      Good benefits and they pay for your flight training.

      Cons

      Senior leadership is disconnected from the membership decline problems and offers no solutions to correct membership loss and management problems, but does attend a lot of cocktail parties and get to fly a jet around the country.
