Pros

The caffe latte in the coffee machine was nice. Got about 2 weeks good wage in 8 months.

Cons

I worked for this company for 8 months at the Crewe depo as a delivery driver and looking at these some of these reviews they must of been done by someone at the company. Just to clarify on some of the things I've seen you DO NOT receive free snacks the only thing free you get is a coffee at the coffee machine but your lucky if there's any cups in. The companies owned by AO.com and you DO NOT receive discounts on any of the products and you DO NOT get invited to company fun day family events these are just for AO employees we worked for expert logistics..... No job security you would receive a text between 11pm-1am to tell you if your working the next day, sometimes you get told the day before your 100% in next day then get a text at night to say shifts cancelled. They take on way to many drivers so work is limited. Mine was the only Crew that was still there from when I started all the rest had already left by the time we quit. Sometimes we would only work twice a week and if you couldn't work the weekend forget about trying to get shifts during the week there wasn't a chance. They want you to give the customers the best customer experience possible while treating you like a mug, sometimes I would have to be at the depo at 4.30am as the 1st drop would be in Wales at 7am and only be getting home at 9pm then back in the day after at 4.30am again. If you get stuck in traffic, if roads are closed, if you are in Wales the sat nav will take you down roads the van can't fit down so you have to find another route and this can take up to 20 minutes... You won't get paid extra, you'd turn up to a customers house you have about 8 minutes to deliver an appliance, but they don't take into account the 7am deliveries will be asleep, steps you have to go up, and if it'll even fit in the door. American fridge freezers never go in so you have to take all the doors off to get it in then put them back on, we'd get about 15 minutes to do it but this can take up to an hour.... Don't get paid extra. Fitting washing machines you could have to carry them up flights of stairs to apartments and when you get there the old 1 is still connected so you phone the office up and all they say is disconnect the old 1 even though the customers not paid for it but you won't get paid extra for the time it takes. Some days we got back the depo 3 hours late and wouldn't get paid an extra penny even though we was working our backs off but on the extremely rare occasions you get back early they take money off you. They charge you for van damages with out telling you even though you've done nothing wrong, we got charged about £500 in van damaged in 8 months. They don't give you enough straps as well in the back of vans so when they sent secured proper becaus you litually can't because there's not enough straps and something's gets damaged it goes against you. They also once charged us for using the work phone Even though we only used it to contact customers, after arguing with someone over email I got my money back about 2 weeks later. After our shift ended and your on your way back the depo they could phone you to ask you to nip Birmingham to just ''pick a few drops up'' as another crew I'd behind but if you do it your only getting in around 9pm after starting around 4.30am but not getting paid the full hours your out, but if you say no the office they are funny with you so you better say good bye to your next few days work. The manger is a joke after emailing him asking why so many shifts are getting cancelled I've got bills to pay I can't afford to keep having time off only work 2-3 days a week, he replied with just I'll take it you've quit then.... No explanation so that sums up how professionally its run so after that I quit, not being treated like a mug. So all that summed up... Long days, no respect and do anything to take money off you, most truthful review about expert logistics on here.
