Pros

Lovely colleagues and teenage students that make it all worthwhile.

Cons

They employ really inexperienced DoS and activity leaders so they keep running up and down the corridor (during lessons) on panic mode which looks so bad in front of students. During the summer camp, we often did not get paid on time. There was also a mistake on informing of the leaving date after the summer camp came to an end, so I almost went homeless, plus all the perks they promised (like training courses) never happened. The food was atrocious too!

Pros

Supportive, family-like team. Plenty of opportunity to enjoy excursions alongside the children. Workshops offer great experience for hose interested in teaching. The pay is slightly above minimum wage, and there is plenty of opportunity for overtime so a good way to make cash over the summer if you are a student. Every single meal was provided for us.

Cons

Could work 12-13 hours in one day multiple days in a row. Not enough managers, was unpleasant watching manager be stressed and overwhelmed all day while working two jobs. Felt a lack of support with setting up activities. I definitely spent free time in between shifts planning and setting up activities.
