Pros

- good location - can wear casual clothes to work - supportive team mates and team leads - provides training to new employees - average compensation package but could still be improved

Cons

1. Poor onboarding process. I literally dont have anything to do during my first weeks. My account was not yet set up. Getting your ID takes months. Even the new facilities manager does not have yet his ID when he is almost 6 months with the company. And I heard that the ID is being printed by an employee out of favor only thats why it takes so long. And you dont automatically get a pedestal, you still have to request for it. That is where I got the impression that the company is being cheap to its employees. 2. You dont get what you signed up for 3. They dont have standardized documentations - operations manuals and desktop procedures are not updated and standardized. If only these are in place and updated, it will not be hard to train new employees. 4. Company does not invest on the well being of its people. Airconditioning is weak and sometimes off. You will see employees using hand fans while working. Carpets are not clean. There are no individual trashbin per employee. There are just common trash bins. No budget provisioned for office supplies. You have to buy your own pen, notebook, alcohol, etc. I cant help but compare to my previous company where everything is provisioned. So this is where I validated that the company is being cheap to its employees. 5. No budget for team buildings, summer outing, etc. These only happens when there are upper management visitors. And I can see that they are not used to planning these kind of things. We have an event this 1st week of june and until now, no announcement on the details of the event yet unlike in my previous company where everything is laid out months before the event since these events happen yearly and scheduled ahead every year. 6. I dont like that there is an age limit of 65 years old on your dependents for the medical benefit. So what if my parents turn 66 already. Ill definitely resign to find a company that could provide medical benefit to my parents as this is very improtant consideration of mine when choosing a company.

I was really concerned to read your feedback. I spent last week in Manila speaking with employees and former employees about their questions and concerns. I have worked with the management team to build a plan to improve employee experience and engagement and will be working closely with them to monitor progress. I would really appreciate the opportunity to speak directly with you in confidence about your experience. Please contact me at sheena.cartwright@alexmann.com. Thank you

Pros

Flexible and remote working Great company but with the right leadership

Cons

Since the leadership change last year, the culture within AMS has deteriorated significantly. The new CDTO’s approach has created an environment that feels increasingly toxic and unsustainable for many employees. There is a strong sense that every problem is expected to be solved—or sidelined—by AI, often without realistic planning, sufficient resources, or input from the teams actually responsible for execution. This has led to confusion, constant shifting priorities, and a lack of meaningful support for getting work done effectively. At the same time, workloads have increased to an unsustainable level. Expectations continue to rise, but without additional resources or clear prioritization. Many teams are stretched thin, juggling multiple high-pressure initiatives with tight deadlines, which only adds to the stress and makes it difficult to maintain quality or balance. More concerning is the leadership style. Communication often feels driven by pressure and fear rather than clarity or collaboration. Many employees feel they are operating under constant scrutiny, which has contributed to widespread stress, anxiety, and low morale across the department. It’s becoming common to hear colleagues express reluctance to come into work, not because of the workload itself, but because of the atmosphere.
