Pros
I was given opportunity and that is very much what AMS does. Learning and Development is hugely important and a key part of AMS ethos. They look to promote internally but get people ready for the roles before promotion. The Krakow Centre is incredibly well run and headed up by a remarkable leader in Jola. In so many other companies the centre head would be locked in an office and not approachable this is the exact opposite of what Jola is and one of the main reasons AMS is so successful. Leading by example and demonstrating values makes her a great role model and someone whose teachings I use in my current role outside of AMS. I recommend AMS extremely highly for anyone wishing to start a career, I learned so much and have managed to progress externally using so much of what I learnt from AMS. It also gives people a chance to move internationally, I was able to move from the Bracknell office to Krakow in 2010 and was fully supported by the company.
Cons
In the growth of the company AMS did seem to lose it's family feeling. It also felt at times that people who were seen as essential in their current role or team would not be given progression oppurtunites.
