      Pros

      Great to move up in career ladder Good support system from coworkers and leadership team (especially if you advocate for yourself) - Offer opportunities to expand your knowledge (ex: getting your PCCN/CCRN)

      Cons

      -Staff to patient ratio can get heavy especially on the unit I work at (Progressive care unit) Normally 3-4 : 1. There are times you can get 5:1 which can get stressful depending on patient acuity. -There are times I wished the numbers on patient satisfaction shouldn't be one of priorities of the job.

      Pros

      Nice small neighborhood hospital with many big hospital finds

      Cons

      When Amita health took them over, that's when it went down the tubes but now that this relationship is broken up, they are back on top especially having U of Chicago behind them
