Apply if you want to be management’s scapegoat, subjected to poor leadership by a two faced company. - Healthcare Recruiter AMI Network Employee Review

Pros

At first they are super welcoming, warm and helpful. They say they say “Ask questions. Happy to help!” But know that this will be turned around and used against you. If you ask for feedback the expectation from you is to be a mind reader, you have to pick up on nuances in conversations with your boss such as “you’re struggling with X but that will improve with time, so don’t worry about it. You’re improving overall. Great work!” When you ask for feedback on how to improve your told you’re doing great. When you tell them how to talk to you - it gets ignored and again gets used against you. People in other departments talk badly about each other. Such as “ person X didn’t listen to me about what a client wanted and now the client is mad and I really want to say I told you so.”

Cons

There is favoritism. If two recruiters have similar write ups for a client one recruiter will get thrown under the bus while the other recruiter will get support from leadership saying “Oh they’re stretched thin” as an excuse for their short comings - a FREQUENTLY used excuse. Your boss will train you without having a clue how- I get it; growing pains but this leads up to a bigger concern. When in a group meeting with you, your boss and your boss’s boss you are asked to lie -by your boss -about how training is going. For example, your boss’s boss asks how X is going and you’re supposed to say “it’s going alright” but you haven’t actually covered it in training yet.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We recognize that recruiting is definitely not the right fit for everyone. When someone struggles to grasp the fundamentals, even after being coached repeatedly, and consistently falls short of clearly defined goals and expectations, we are faced with difficult conversations and decisions to ensure the overall success of our team. Terminating an employee is never an easy decision to make, and we only resort to termination when we feel all avenues have been exhausted and there’s no path to improvement. As difficult as it is, in the long run it’s only fair to you as an employee and the rest of our organization. We try our absolute best to put employees in a position to succeed, not to fail. When a team member does not apply suggestions & feedback provided to make necessary improvements, it has a significant negative impact - it's not only damaging to our team, but it also leads to loss of credibility with our clients and candidates. Regarding your comments about “write ups” this is not a term used by our agency so we’re not sure how to respond to this, considering our internal policy ensures that our team members do not compete for client searches. We hope that helps to clear up any confusion surrounding this matter. Honesty and transparency are core values deeply rooted in our company culture and we would never ask any team member to lie for any reason. This is extremely important to us as an organization and if this transpired at any point, we encourage you to bring it to the executive team to investigate. We’re grateful you took the time to bring this feedback to our attention. Like any company, occasionally we have blind spots into certain areas of the business and you're feedback, good or bad, allows us to continue to make improvements. On behalf of AMI Network, we sincerely wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
