-Base pay -Frequent and meticulous evaluation of plant and employee safety
Cons
-Too many employees for ONE local HR administrator to manage effectively. -Management is cut throat; 3 different people in varying levels of authority will tell you 3 different things, so no one is ever on the same page and a lot of finger pointing. -Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. If there’s a problem or emergency, you’re screwed. -Shop employees are protected by a union. Management has no protection for anything. If you get hurt, miss work, need accommodations, etc, no one is willing to help or listen.
