Pros
Ametek has a good benefits package and overall is a ok company to work for. Pay is lacking some, but the work is steady and very few layoffs.
Cons
Ametek is mostly concerned with making money and fails to plan out for the long term for production. parts are purchased at the very last moment and very little is done for quality checks upon receipt of parts. This causes a lot of overtime and orders to the customer to be late. Rushing orders also directly impacts quality of product. This seems to go in waves and needs more attention.
