Higher management is largely made up of British nationals, and white supremacy can be felt everywhere. If you are not white or British, do not accept a promotion or raise without first bootlicking. If you are not white or British, do not file a grievance with them. HR, as expected, are brits, but don't ever moan and complain about their countrymen; it'll just backfire. Managers' discriminatory and unpleasant behaviours toward black and brown people is a way for them to cover their inadequacies. Keep your head low, just work and move when you get something better.
