My second job as a graduate engineer. And the amount of mentoring I received was very decent and in three months time, I was able to manage small projects. I quickly was taught that they don't train you to be a structural engineer, but a project engineer which I found very helpful as you are exposed to quite a lot than the technical aspect, including managing finances of a project.
friendly, easy to reach, good projects, fun, feels like part of something
Cons
middle management sometimes adrift of team performance, motivation lacked sometimes. social plans not often carried out, open plan office but not much integration
