Pros
Most of the non-management level staff are great people. Great health insurance benefits. I don’t know if this is considered a pro, but if you’re “valuable” they will continue to pay you more and more to trick you into staying.
Cons
Someone in the office will get yelled by the owner every day for something minuscule. The yelling happens in front of others which is so humiliating. If you’re a good worker and they recognize it, they will continue to throw more and more work on you. Administrative management provides no training and will talk about you behind your back. The staff is literally trauma bonded and everyone is desperate to get out. The environment leads to incredibly high turnover so you are constantly learning and training with new people. Everyone is afraid to operate which leads to no decisions and no real progress being made. It feels like you’re in a toxic relationship where it is 3 steps forward 20 steps back.
