Pros
-Team members/coworkers are nice. Everyone is helpful and able to pivot quickly when given new tasks.
-Unlimited PTO
-hybrid work schedule
Cons
-Extreme micromanagement: Upper management wants to know what you’re doing at all times when they don’t even understand the roles and their own teams or work streams.
-EVERYTHING is reactive. Polls/surveys? Change everything according to the results. C-Suite member has a PERSONAL opinion or complaint about something ? Drop everything to handle that.
-Strategy is non existent. We are not working toward any specific goal, just responding to random requests everyday all day.
- Management will ask your opinion and ask that you come up with a strategy and then do the total opposite of what you suggested or give so much unnecessary pushback that you don’t even care to continue with the project.
-There are no project outlines, so you never know the why behind projects or what the outcome should be. Nothing is ever in place. Someone has an idea (C-Suite) and then people just scramble to get it done as quickly as possible.
-Upper management clearly doesn’t read emails because they’ll ask you the same question 5 different times when they’re on the email thread.
