Pros

Varied work available, opportunity to work with different teams across the company. Able to work with huge, reputable companies.

Cons

Serious lack of training. Age-ist, controlling and depressive culture. No support for existing staff. All HR matters including pay are hidden and forbidden to be spoken about. Terrible pay, this company will pay the bare minimum possible yet expect 150%. Employees without children are expected to work more to cover those who have children as they get to pick and choose what work they do. Expected to work away at least 60-70% and travel very far with little regard to how this affects work life balance.

Pros

The vast majority of people that work at the company are hardworking and decent. Annual leave and flexibility are plus points.

Cons

Leadership of some managers leaves a lot to be desired. My manager had the eye and ear of the directors and despite her publically slating them and there out of work extra curricular activities managed to sweep her incompetence under the carpet. Don't be seen as a threat to some or they will do there best to defame.

ADAS Response
11y
We recognise that staff are our most valuable asset and that their integrity, commitment and loyalty is vital to how we conduct our business, and to the long-term success of the company. We are always concerned to hear of any perceptions of the type reported here. As a matter of policy: - ADAS values, rewards, recognises and promotes people with fairness and equality. - ADAS is committed to addressing possible areas of concern to employees and to continually improving performance as an employer. - The Directors of the company interact freely with staff at all levels and are always keen to seek ideas, comments and feedback on all aspects of the business. I am really not interested in people ‘telling me what (they think) I want to hear’ as that is of no use to me at all. I may not always agree with what I am told, or be able to respond in the way that people would like, but I need to hear their honest thoughts and views. - As part of the process of seeking constant feedback, all departing employees are invited to undertake a comprehensive exit interview, the results of which are shared with relevant managers and Directors and action taken as appropriate. I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us, but I wish you well in your future career. Colin Speller, Group Managing Director
