Pay* - the pay could on one hand be amazing for the hours. However, it could also be a complete and udder waste of your time. The pay is by the hearing so if you have 6 hearings for a day and only 2 of them happen, the first and the last one scheduled, then you wasted an entire day sitting around and only get paid for those 2 hearings you completed. Like I said, great highs and lows for the pay. Bureaucratic job - typical government work. You either have to do things multiple times over or you get little to no notice on crucially important things. It is not uncommon to feel like you are the last to know on important things. Bottom line, the chain of communication and information flow is poor.
