      as a welder at the BAF AC First weld shop you have the opportunity to make good friends, just keep in mind that welders stateside can be ruff, Afghanistan is no place for sensitive souls.

      Cons

      there are no days off just time off. get yourself some friends, go to the gym eat somewhere besides the Defact and have fun when you can.

      The pay was great, the benefits were good, the whole package is amazing if you're single

      Cons

      Being on the other side of the world from my family and it's very difficult to leave with a new job waiting. No one wants to talk to you when you're on the other side of the world.
