During my previous tenure at this organization, I unfortunately did not receive the expected compensation or benefits. This experience has taught me the importance of conducting thorough background checks before joining any organization, including seeking insights from former employees regarding their reasons for leaving. I chose to leave ABL because the company did not fulfill its obligation to pay me and two other colleagues our November salaries by December 31st, despite other employees receiving their payments promptly. The reason behind this delay was attributed to the company's financial challenges over the past two years, which the founder himself acknowledged (I have supporting evidence). They expected the three of us to resolve two years' worth of difficulties within a short timeframe before releasing our salaries. Additionally, the company introduced an unconventional and potentially unlawful method of salary distribution, with 70% being variable and only 30% fixed. Consequently, even after working diligently throughout the month, including weekends, we would only receive 30% of our anticipated earnings. Moreover, the variable portion would only be granted upon the completion of tasks at 100%. This salary structure is inconsistent with legal requirements. Initially, I considered pursuing legal action; however, I ultimately decided against it due to my deep respect for the female co-founder and the valuable friendships I formed during my time at ABL. Nevertheless, it is important to note that as of today, July 16th, 2023, I am yet to receive my December 2022 salary. Considering my experience, I advise against considering this organization as a potential employer. I kindly suggest utilizing your time and resources elsewhere.
