I experienced everything bad written here on Glassdoor, especially the bullying. And they have to know what’s going on but they don’t care. Someone here said if you can keep your head down and ignore what you see, you can work there. I agree. AARP doesn’t seem to hire employees on their own. They use staffing agencies and temporary contractors. Then if the temps can stand the culture, they get hired permanently. But remember, staffing agencies get paid by AARP so they don’t really care about you, the employee. That’s what happened to me. I was told by this recruiter how great AARP is, but it’s not. In fact, it’s far from it. Check them out before you accept a position and don't waste your time.
