Pros

Great place to start out in aviation. Facilities and equipment you need is all there for the most part. They offer a program where the company loans you tools and you use them day-to-day while paying it off each check. Pay is not bad at all, starting out at $21.50 an hour and OT every week (The OT is kind of a pain). HR is friendly, pleasant dealing with them. Can't stress it enough, if you are interested in aviation and want to try it out, this is the place.

Cons

Pay was $21.50 an hour starting out (typical) but the work they squeeze out of you is intense on a very busy schedule. Although the job always got done (good on management), the management could have handled it better and in a calmer, more respectful way. Honestly felt a little degraded while working there. Sometimes there is not enough equipment to go around (e.g., ladders, meters, lifts. Not much choice of days off, both of your days off will be during the week (most likely) and you will never have a Saturday AND Sunday off the same week.

Pros

good pay and that's it.

Cons

everything. where to start - new employees are treated like garbage. no vacation days until 6 months then you get 3 days.... for an entire year (sick/vacation). useless pto. no insurance... even though you are working for AAR they use a staffing company - which is still aar to get away with this. not paid for hours worked - manipulate hours/pay weeks in order to avoid paying OT. scummy leadership, favoritism, and unless you're related to or sleeping with someone in leadership - you will get laid off.
