Pros

Used to have lots of off days before we started to operate the sydney route. Generally a small base. Nice working environment if you are an easy going person. Great place if you love status quo.

Cons

Management - do not expect them to reply to your mail especially when requesting for help .. Don't have the decency to at least acknowledge receipt of the request/email. Lack local HR knowledge- not very well versed in local employment matters. Operations - bunch of robots that have no idea what to do when out of the norm situation arise. Super rigid. Salary has not been reviewed since 2015. job advancement opportunities is close to zero- ccm and scc salary are very similar.

Pros

Own website, creation of a general profile

Cons

Is the worst agency to work through if you get hired as a crew; they don’t know how to check your documents, disorganisation, poor communication skills & lack of experience; it makes the airline that they are hired by to look cheap; We will write a concern to our cabin crew unions & we will also write about to the high management of the airlines we got hired for; it’s such a shame to see big names like SAS, Etihad, Wizz air being recruiting through them; I’ve been in the industry for such a long time and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had;

We are deeply sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience – it does not reflect the standards we strive to uphold. The issues you have highlighted are taken very seriously. These processes are central to the service we provide to both crew and our airline partners, and it is clear from your review that your experience fell short of what we strive to deliver. Your feedback will be shared directly with our teams to ensure that the specifics raised are reviewed thoroughly. Continuous improvement is a core focus for us, and hearing from those directly impacted is an important part of that work. If you are willing, we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you to better understand the details of your situation and address your concerns directly. You can reach our team at: contact@aapaviation.com Kind regards, AAP Aviation

Pros

The good side about this job is if you have passion with flying it’s all good, crew are usually nice some odds ones you know what I mean. The off days are good, work life balance, don’t expect the salary to be high but workload is worth what they are paying.

Cons

I’ve been in this company for 2 years, everything is good but the management not so, we got our director which basically doesn’t prepare ahead or plan ahead and doesn’t have any directions, basically to say he doesn’t care about you. If sh*t hit the fan, he will randomly cut you off. Just like how we were redundant. When people ask a reason they could give a valid reason they just tell us random. We got our so called our based manager, basically incompetent, tail behind our director if one day the director push him under the bus, he will take the ride alone. There isn’t any proper HR that calculate paid well, sometimes short change ,sometimes accurate. It’s a third party source HR based in Philippines or something. During the retrenchment phase, he actually didn’t want to pay us any retrenchment package Is Union fought for us to have these retrenchment package. A good place to work for but at your own risk. You never know when you are the next one to go.
