AAMC Response
6yThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry you’ve had some negative experiences working at AAMC. We are aware that there is some inconsistency with our supervisors following AAMC procedures and best practices therefore we’ve rolled out a 3-course mandatory supervisor training to better align supervisors of all experience levels on what the AAMC expects of them regarding recruitment and supervising employees. This course enables supervisors to provide a consistent and positive experience to all employees. We were thrilled to have welcomed our new CEO Dr. David Skorton to the AAMC family earlier this year. With new leadership often comes change and while that’s exciting and we are looking forward to it, we understand this can also bring feelings of anxiety. Each of our cluster’s work is tied directly to our mission and each provides value to students and our constituents in an impactful way. We highly encourage our employees to report ethics violations. If an employee doesn’t feel comfortable reporting them to their supervisor, Chief or HR partner please feel free to use our ethics hotline which can be found on our internal website. We take your insights about discrimination and lack of diversity seriously. The AAMC is committed to providing its employees a diverse and inclusive environment. We have a diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative to educate our supervisors and make them aware of our challenges and to implement solutions. We are working to ensure diversity and inclusion is ingrained in all human resources practices. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss this further.
