Pros

Theres no requirement to overtime Credit is given where credit is due Work/life balance, 6pm can just leave

Cons

Toxic environment at all levels (sales, management and back end) Bully employees to pick up projects/jobs not even related to your JD or scope A supposedly billion dollar company, but staff rarely receive any share of profits. If any, Profit sharing is maxed at a month or less, or unfairly rated at 25% while sales staff receives 75% Endlessly changing goal posts No way to climb up the ladder if someone leaves the company as remaining staff have to pick up their work. It doesnt matter if they were from your own team or not. They disguise this as “promotion” while the company saves their money in recruitment Lack of talent in sales - most are just after comm which eventually leads to low overall company performance = an excuse for a billion dollar company to not offer bonuses/cash incentives during year end Lack of talent in management - most are not up to date with how other companies are treating their staff, so Top level down hierarchy, assuming they are always correct and pushing their own job onto their staff is the norm here. Most will rarely work with you but will expect you to do the work. Even heard there was a manager who was so poor at microsoft excel that the copy/paste keyboard shortcut was not known to them so the staff had to pick up that managerial level task Most Foreign talent at work will expect you to adapt to their culture, instead of them adapting to our local culture, including jokes. Racism, harassment, flexing of wealth, inappropriate jibes at our local community and towards our Singlish is normal to most of them. Easier said is that They have an us vs them mentality. I even heard and witness a former staff losing drastic amount of weight because of being bullied by a sales staff to work without breaks and constant micro management. I left before a supposed backwards return to 100% office requirement so YMMV. I also left before the company made a U-turn decision of promising a company wide pay increment.
