Pros
Decent pay, smaller company, most engineers are good people.
Cons
Non-technical leadership bully engineering departments into unrealistic commitments setting the teams up to fail while overworking them. Company leadership has no idea how to run a software company and refuse to learn. Engineers are not allowed to take time off, or are guilt tripped into working overtime. Not uncommon for engineers to miss important life events like weddings, birthdays and such for arbitrary and completely unrealistic deadlines. Poor morale. When I resigned the company was becoming a true revolving door due to mismanagement.
