Pros

The only positive is the location.

Cons

Animation is a notoriously toxic environment, but this is by far the most toxic company I have had the misfortune to work at. The directors/owners are the issue, deeply problematic individuals who have no problem mistreating, bullying and taking staff for granted, while pretending the issue lies with the staff rather than their own inability to communicate, direct, manage or train staff where needed and previously promised. If they take a dislike to any staff member they will happily deploy a series of passive aggressive techniques and undermine for however long the staff member remains at the company, rather than resolve issues through constructive feedback. Instead, those unlucky individuals may find themselves set un-meetable, Sisyphean style tasks. Sexism is alive and well at this company, with women paid approximately half the wages of men. The pay is low, extremely low for female staff members and too low to live off. Overtime is unpaid and is often used as a punishment. Staff may be expected to work months of overtime, as late as the directors deem necessary, which is of course unpaid. There are no benefits, no organisation/decent direction, and no pipeline to speak of. Work here at your peril. They will destroy your mental health.
