You become very valuable if you are good within your position. They value your ideas and are open to suggestions. They give you the ability to work independently without micromanaging. You get the opportunity to expand in other areas and grow if you perform and have the knowledge. They support you with tools such as webinars or classes which will help you within your position.

I don’t have any complaints. I generally focus on taking care of my day to day responsibilities. Some people are unhappy no matter what, but I feel that if you are not happy with your employer or position, simply move on.

Unfortunately, I do not have many 'big' pros to share from my experience. I did like that it was a smaller organization so you had the chance to interact with everyone in the company including execs.

The biggest downside is the management. Due to poor organization, the communication is quite weak and it seems to be that most people are not aware of what is going on at the company strategy-wise. A lot of employees do not know what the company's values are, and are on a different page from one another. It is also troubling when junior level employees are often teaching upper management about standard business practice. And lastly, because it is a smaller private company, do not expect corporate professionalism.
