Pros

Incredible Colleagues. Hardworking, dedicated and generally a rare gathering of really nice people.

Cons

The management of this company is among the worst I've encountered in my 10+ years of experience. In most cases, during layoffs, management strives to show empathy towards affected employees. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. It seemed as though the well-being of employees was the least of their concerns. Despite having options under Israeli law regarding the termination of employment, the company chose the most unfavorable route for the employees, resulting in significant financial implications. It's disheartening when a company, whose primary focus is financial, fails to prioritize the financial security of its employees. Clear communication and consideration for employee welfare should be fundamental, especially during such challenging times. Additionally, during a period of challenging political turmoil in Israel, marked by protests just beneath our office building, which undoubtedly affected the company's position in the global market and potential investments, the management chose to remain silent, contributing to a growing sense of disarray and denial within the organization.

Pros

It's an A tel aviv based company, so work-life balance really makes sense because of the time difference.

Cons

The management is absolutely ridiculous. There is no communication with the team whatsoever... The CEO never speaks to the ICs and has absolutely no clue what is happening on the ground.... Changes are passed without email or official communication to internal and external stakeholders, and they are expected to just know.... Most of the partners were never paid on time, and there were thousands of dollars of invoices that were pending... Not just that, they didn't provide me with any severance on the layoff and also delayed my last paycheck forever.

Pros

- This company has potential - Nice company events

Cons

- The company is in financial decline, with limited resources and signs of instability. - There’s a lack of structure and consistency—priorities shift frequently with little notice, leaving teams scrambling. - Communication is a major gap. There are no clear OKRs, and cross-team collaboration is virtually nonexistent. - The US team feels disconnected and overlooked. Morale is low, and turnover is high—so much so that a wall of past event photos has become a symbol of how many people have left. - Employee investment is not a priority. Loyalty is not reciprocated, and decisions are driven by profit, not people. - Basic tools and resources are underfunded. Many of the tools essential to my role had to be paid for out of pocket. - Feedback and new ideas are often ignored, even when current strategies are underperforming. This resistance to change is contributing to the company’s downward trend. - There’s a disconnect between leadership and the US market. Teams abroad are making decisions for a market they don’t fully understand, while dismissing insights from those who do. - Collaboration is minimal. Departments operate in silos, which has directly impacted growth, including a drop in connected store signups. - Strategic planning is inconsistent and often changes week to week, creating a sense of chaos and instability. - There is no operational foundation—no central documentation, processes, or structure around brand voice, audience targeting, or performance tracking.
