Pros

The recruiters did an excellent job in assembling a top-notch team, fostering great synergy among its members. Everyone was motivated and willing to do whatever it took to succeed. The team comprised highly skilled individuals, each bringing unique talents and perspectives to the table, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment. The initial excitement and commitment were palpable, as each member was dedicated to the organization's vision and eager to contribute their best efforts. However, despite this exceptional foundation, the organization's leadership failed to harness this potential effectively. Poor management decisions, constant changes in direction, and unrealistic expectations quickly eroded the team's enthusiasm and morale. The lack of clear communication and support from the top created a disconnect, leaving this once-promising team struggling to maintain their motivation and synergy. The recruiters' efforts in bringing together such a talented group were ultimately undermined by the leadership's inability to provide the necessary guidance and appreciation for their hard work.

Cons

The organization suffers from poor leadership, starting with the CEO who want to be part of everything, changing every day all the functionalities. The product team is not involved, and sales techniques are outdated by 20 years. Functionalities change constantly, stifling innovation and forcing the team into 10-hour workdays. The goals set are unrealistic and unattainable, and the product, launched with unicorn-level expectations, was rushed without proper technical design or time for thoughtful consideration. The entire team worked under immense pressure, leading to anxiety and poor morale. It is commonplace for one person to handle the workload of four or five, yet receive the salary of only one. Despite many of us accepting the challenge of hard work, our efforts were met with little recognition and poor treatment. Management is disconnected from what truly matters, believing their ideas are revolutionary when they are simply more AI products. They don't listen to their employees, there are no career development plans, and their failure to value an incredible team is destined to lead to their downfall. They are sitting on a unique team that any other company would be lucky to have, but they don’t appreciate it.

Pros

- Solid leadership - Great people on the team - Strong opportunity

Cons

- Startups are very dynamic in terms of changing priorities - If you want to be in the office, its all remote - If you need a lot of oversight, go work for a big/older company

Pros

Honestly can't think of a single pro.

Cons

This job was a train wreck from start to finish, and a total waste of time. The entire codebase is a rushed hacked-together mess full of unaddressed bugs and an architecture that can not grow. No one is willing to take problems seriously because they're all too busy trying to rush ahead to a "finish line", even if it means crossing that finished line with an unfinished and broken product. There's just no real effort being put in here. Low-code platforms are a dime a dozen. A new one pops out of the woodwork every day. They appear more often than JavaScript frameworks. They generate bad code and awful APIs then leave developers doing more work hacking around them to make it work than they would have to do building from scratch. This one is no different. This hackathon quality, unrefined product is more likely to fall into irrelevancy just like all the others.
