Pros

Honestly Nothing, the CEO is a freak!

Cons

This CEO called “JOHN” is a control freak!!. He monitors employees via security cameras, not for safety but to stalk and control. It’s not leadership, it’s paranoia! He has no functional understanding of marketing yet insists on meddling in every decision, overriding experienced professionals with uninformed opinions. Instead of trusting the team, he undermines them. Most disturbingly, he recently terminated two highly capable marketing team members without offering any explanation. When we approached him respectfully to understand what happened or even have a conversation, he flat-out refused. No transparency, no accountability, no dialogue. Working under this kind of leadership is not only demoralizing, it’s unsustainable. This environment fosters fear, not creativity. Control, not collaboration. It’s a cautionary tale of what happens when ego, insecurity, and power go unchecked in the C-suite.

Pros

One of the most rewarding aspects of coming to work each day was the team. My coworkers were consistently supportive, collaborative, and genuinely invested in the success of each project.

Cons

Despite being encouraged to "think outside the box," many of our team’s more innovative or experimental ideas were dismissed as being too unconventional. This disconnect between leadership’s stated goals and actual decision-making often stifled creativity. Despite our department’s expertise grounded in formal design education and an understanding of current market trends, our ideas were often overlooked in favor of external opinions rooted in outdated approaches. Project timelines could also be unpredictable, with last-minute requests and tight deadlines becoming common, sometimes with only a few days' notice. Additionally, there were moments when the value of our in-house team was undermined by suggestions that similar work could be outsourced at lower cost. Ironically, outsourced work often required significant revisions from our team to meet quality standards, adding to our workload. Also, while responsibilities often increased, there was no opportunity for growth either within the department or the company as a whole.
